A normal month
Here’s what a normal month looks like. Updates go on overnight, so nobody’s computer restarts in the middle of a patient visit or a closing. A hard drive starts throwing warnings, and it gets replaced before it fails. When someone at the front desk does call, a technician answers and is working on it within minutes.
You pay the same amount whether it was a quiet month or a hard one, so you can budget for IT the way you budget for rent.

Backups
Backups are only covered when they’re written into your plan, and we’ll tell you plainly if yours aren’t. When they are, the plan names what gets backed up, where the copies are kept, how long they’re kept, and how often we test a restore. No backup system is foolproof, which is why the restore test matters more than the backup.
After hours
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central. After-hours work and on-site emergency calls are billed separately unless your plan includes them. Your proposal says which, so there’s no surprise on the invoice after a Saturday server failure.
Onboarding
We start by reviewing every computer, server, network device, and account you have. Then we install monitoring, document your setup and vendors, and fix the urgent problems we found. Anything outside the plan is listed and quoted before we touch it.
Licensing
Your hardware, software, and subscriptions need to stay properly licensed. We can buy and manage Microsoft 365 and other licenses for you, and your quote shows which are part of the per-user rate and which are billed as their own line.
What isn’t included
Projects are quoted separately with a fixed price before work starts. That covers major upgrades and migrations, cabling, new office setup, compliance projects, hardware purchases and installation, and incident response beyond what your plan includes.
Terms and billing
The per-user rate is billed monthly in advance. Your proposal states the first term; after that it runs month to month. Response times are averages and targets, not guarantees, unless a signed service schedule says otherwise.

How much do managed IT services cost?
A flat monthly rate per user. The rate depends on how many people and devices you have and what’s in the plan, such as backups or after-hours coverage. We review your environment first and give you a written quote. See the pricing page for a starting estimate.
Do I still get fast help if something breaks?
Yes. During business hours a technician in Hays answers, and our average response is under 15 minutes. Many problems are fixed remotely on the first call; if it needs hands on, we come to you.
Is managed IT only for larger businesses?
No. Small offices often benefit most, because one failed computer or one bad email can stop a five-person office for a day.
What’s the difference between managed IT and break/fix?
Break/fix bills in 30-minute increments, with a one-hour minimum, for each problem, and scheduled maintenance is arranged separately. Managed IT bundles monitoring, patching, protection, and help desk support into one monthly rate, so routine upkeep happens on a schedule instead of when someone remembers.
